Informal outdoors portrait of Wing Commander Clive R. (Killer) Caldwell of Illabo, NSW, Commanding Officer of No. 452 (Spitfire) Squadron RAAF, who has a brilliant service record in the Middle East, Britain and now in the NT. His combat record includes twenty four and a half aircraft shot down (which includes four Japanese) and is credited with the destruction of ten and a half grounded aircraft. He has been awarded the DFC and BAR, and holds the Polish Cross of Valour.
