Members of the Women's Australian National Service (WANS) engaged in a map reading exercise at their Glengarry campsite. This organisation was established to assist voluntarily in Australia's war effort and its members come from all walks of life. They are trained in first aid, air raid precautions, signalling, map reading, transport driving, camp management and other activities valuable in war time.
