Aalesund, Norway. 1945-03-17. A very large force of RAF Coastal Command Mosquito aircraft attacked enemy shipping in the harbour. The aircraft left five out of six vessels on fire or smoking. A heavily armed medium sized merchantman ship was hit by rockets from the Mosquito fighter/bomber during the attack.
