Folder 1 of 2 - Contains correspondence and papers relating to Oreste Barbero from 1944-1945.

Oreste Barbero was the owner of a pastrycook’s shop in Vercelli, Italy. Barbero aided Peck in assisting escaped prisoners of war in the area in reaching Switzerland. In 1944, Barbero was arrested by the National Guard.

This collection is predominately written in Italian.
