Germany. c. 1943-05. After the attack on the Mohne Dam on the night of 1943-05-16/17, devastation was caused over a wide area. At Froendenberg-Boesperde in the Ruhr Valley, thirteen miles from the Mohne Dam, there was extensive damage to roads, electricity works, road and railway bridges, as well as railway coaches and sidings.
