The grave of 400807 Sergeant John Maxwell Knight from Kyneton, Victoria who died in an aircraft accident while on an operational training flight over Scotland on 13 May 1942 and was buried at Dalston Road Cemetery, Carlisle, Cumbria, UK. He was serving with 59 Operational Training Unit at Crosby-on-Eden, 9.3km north east of Carlisle and died aged 21, five days short of his 22nd birthday.
