Munster, Germany. 1943-06-12. The day after Bomber Command's night attack showing some of the concentrated damage caused in the port and industrial area close to the centre of the town. In the middle of the picture is the town gas works, where the lower of the two gas holders has been severely damaged by fire, and buildings have suffered from high explosive and fire. Three quarters of the main buildings of the goods station (bottom) has been gutted, whilst fire still burns among badly damaged warehouses and commercial buildings (top right).
