Group portrait of the women of the Lobethal Soldiers Comfort Club knitting socks and other comforts for men from the local area who were serving with the 1st AIF. The photograph was taken by the Lobethal Snaps League, which sent snapshots of local events to Lobethal servicemen serving overseas. This snap was sent to Driver Henry Bailey Burnley of the 6th Field Artillery Brigade.
