Hiro, Japan. 1948-09-14. Exterior of the Red Shield Salvation Army hut in the 34th Infantry Brigade camp area. The building was formerly Japanese Army barracks, the interior of which was re-designed by representative C. J. Bautovich. Above the main entrance to the left of the photograph is the familiar kangaroo "Hop In" sign.
