Description

Aerial view of the Thai Thien village looking eastward from a Bell Sioux (possum) helicopter. In the centre is the Rach Nuoc Lon River, on which are mounted several sampans. At right is a section of Route 15 running away to the south. The village, which was under strong Viet Cong (VC) control, was used as a transit point by the VC in shipping supplies and equipment from the swamps of the Rung Sat to their forces in the Hat Dich area.
