Interview with Gerry Judd for the documentary series 'When the war came to Australia. Gerry Judd discusses his reactions to the outbreak of war, the enlistment of his father and brother in the AIF and his own enlistment in the Air Force going into the Empire Air Training Scheme. He talks about the impact this had on his mother with three family members away and also the impact of the fall of Singapore as it meant his father became a prisoner of war. Continues to talk about his own experiences as a pilot and his impressions of the aftermath of war.
