Departure Bay 2 CH for Qlt Snow Ext Load.
Description
Footage captured by Captain Jason Otter, C Squadron, 5th Aviation Regiment (5 Avn Regt) from the cockpit of Australian Army CH-47D Chinook A15-106. Captain Otter later noted: "Departing South East. The aircraft are carrying fuel blivets to FOB [Forward Operating Base] Baylough. At 1 minute 2 seconds, the valley centre of picture is the location where we would suffer the loss of Lieutenant Marcus Case in [Australian Army] Chinook A15-102 three years later in 2011".
