Munster, Germany. 1945-04-05. Rubble and ruined buildings in the dead heart of the city. Except for some buildings on the outskirts, there is not a building in this area (of diameter about a mile and a half) that is usable or repairable. Munster was last bombed 1945-03-25 in daylight by a force of heavy bombers including Halifax aircraft of No. 466 Squadron RAAF.
