Letters relating to the service of 411063 Sergeant William Arthur “Bill” Allsopp, 35 Squadron Royal Air Force, Royal Australian Air Force, Second World War. The letters were written by Allsopp to his family whilst in New South Wales, Canada and the United Kingdom, and details his life while training with the RAAF. Also includes one letter from the Mayor of Tamworth congratulating Allsopp on enlisting for active service in the RAAF, and official letters sent to his family after his flight was reported missing.
