A kiss from Belgium
Description
Embroidered envelope style silk postcard decorated with a woman wearing a skirt in various flags of the Allied Nations. Below are emroidered sprigs of red flowers and the words "A Kiss from Belgium". On the reverse is correspondence from 1184 Driver Phillip Patrick Ryan, 5th Australian Field Artillery Brigade to his future wife Ebba. Inside the silk envelope is a small card which is printed with shields or military insignia of Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States of America, France, and Belgium.
