Description
Bournemouth From Bath Hill. Caption on verso reads: 'Dear Mum, this is a view of Bournemouth from the roof of the place in which were billeted. It gives you an idea of the size of what used to be England's premier social and Seaside Resort. Like Lourne, only many times larger. It is really a large city, and being a holiday resort, is much brighter and cleaner and more alive than most English cities, and a bit like Melbourne, love David.
