2nd Lieutenant Sidney Phillips.
Description
Studio portrait of Second Lieutenant, Sidney Phillips, 16th Reinforcements, 6th Australian Light Horse Regiment (hat removed). A civil servant prior to enlistment, Phillips joined the AIF aged 35 on 20 October 1915. He returned to Australia on 25 December 1918.
Second Lieutenant Phillips is wearing the unofficial collar badge of the 6th Light Horse Regiment.
