Description
Letters relating to the First World War service of 2399 Private Francis (Ken) Evans, 51st Australian Infantry Battalion. These letters written between August 1915 and July 1917 mention: his time in camp; the trip to England; meeting up with his brother David Gerald Evans; matters at home; his leave in Amiens; his hope that the war will end soon; and disputing issues written in the papers back home.
