[Souvenir] Descriptive of our experiences at Hill 63
Description
Lyrics for a parody titled 'Descriptive of our Experiences at Hill 63', sung to the tune of "Just try to picture me back home in Tennesee", dating from May 1917. This copy of the lyrics, including date, can be found in the papers of Sir John Monash [3DRL/2316].
It is interesting to note that this song was largely referred to as "My Home in Tennessee", in Australian newspapers during 1917. This is also indicated on the copy of the lyrics in Monash's papers. Offically, the song was titled "Just try to picture me back home in Tennesee".
