Collection relating to the Second World War service of Driver Thelma May Wakeham (née Glover), Australian Red Cross, New South Wales, Australia.
Wakeham served with the Australian Red Cross between 20 March 1942 and 8 August 1945. She was said to be energetic and work excellently, graciously and willingly.
Collection consists of four documents relating to Wakeham’s conclusion of her work with the Australian Red Cross in August 1945, including one letter of recommendation from the Superintendent of the Mobile Field Force, one letter of recommendation from the New South Wales Commissioner, one copy of this letter, and one Certificate of Service.
