Dyer, Alwyn Edward (Alan)
Description
Manuscript titled "Anecdotes from the early days of 75 Squadron RAAF from formation March 1942 to second trip to Milne Bay in 1943" by Alan Dyer (electrical fitter). Discusses training of electrical groundcrew, tools and equipment, Japanese air raids, squadron morale, and attitude to authorities in Australia. Also includes a laminated photograph of Alan Dyer and Dick Lowrie, and a laminated poem entitled "War Graves on Tarakan" by F/Lt A T Latham which was distributed at Tarakan in 1945.
