Glisenti Model 1889 Type B Service Revolver
Description
Glisenti Model 1889 Type B double action, six shot revolver. Blued steel frame with a right hand side loading gate and a ejector rod on a collar under the short octagonal barrel. The removable left hand side plate is held to the frame with a small screw lever. Two piece chequered wood grips and a lanyard ring on the rounded butt cap. The left side of the frame is marked with GLISENTI BRESCIA, .450 and on the right side 3/261 MODIF 1930 and NVCB within a diamond. There are scratch marks also on the left side that appear to be NX9908 attralier? and FIA. The left grip is carved with FIA.
