Description
Aerial starboard side view of the Canadian cargo vessel Temagami Park. A 4-inch Mark XIX gun is mounted on the stern with an AA rocket launcher above it. A 12 pounder AA gun is in the bows. 20 mm Oerlikon AA guns are sited in the bridge wings and at the after end of the superstructure. The long booms at the side of her masts are designed to be lowered to suspend Admiralty net defence gear to protect her sides from torpedo attack. (Naval Historical Collection)
