Robertson, Graham Brindley John, (Pilot Officer) 1914-1942)
Description
The diary of Pilot Officer Robertson from 26 May 1942 to 3 September 1942. The diary details the action he was involved in, the bombing raids, learning to fly B-26s, taking part in air battles with Japanese Zeros, going on course in Nowra, and some of the near misses his plane was involved in. Robertson was part of 19 Bombardment Squadron USAAF and was accidentally killed at Iron Range Qld on 13 September 1942 when the right wing of plane he was in hit a termite nest when landing.
