German 'Signalwerfer' Message Rocket Projectile: 44 Battalion, AIF
Description
Communication rocket projectile stand made from tin plated steel. The rocket consists of a hollow steel shaft containing propellant and a hollow warhead containing a written communication message. The rocket has three stabilisation fins at the base and is percussion fired by a ballistite cartridge which ignites the rocket propellant. There are no markings.
