Webley & Scott Mk 1 Pistol : Australian Flying Corps
Description
Webley & Scott Mk 1 semi-automatic pistol. Square section top slide engraved on the left side WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD / PISTOL SELF LOADING .455 MKI / 1913 and has the W&S winged bullet trade mark near the exposed hammer. On the top of the receiver is stamped with an arrow in a 'D' and 1913 with British proof marks. Butt marked D arrow D/2/20 and 3/22, indicating issue to NSW and VIC. Black plastic checkered grips held to the frame by a single screw bolt and a lanyard ring on the butt. Overall metal parts are blued and there is some yellow paint under the barrel. Complete with a magazine.
