Souvenir pennant : HMAS Kanimbla
Description
Triangular dark blue felt souvenir pennant. Screen printed in yellow, brown and red with 'H.M.A.S. KANIMBLA' and the ship's badge showing a flag bearing a lion rampant within a rope circle surmounted by a naval crown. Beneath the crown is a scroll bearing the motto 'CRY HAVOC'.
History / Summary
This penannt was originally used as a wall decoration in the Base Ordnance Depot Sergeant's Mess in Japan, during the British Commonwealth Occupation Force period 1946-1952.
