Madsen M1902/04 Light Machine Gun
Description
Madsen M1902/04 Light Machine Gun with an air cooled barrel that has a fixed carry handle at the point of balance attached to the slotted barrel jacket. It has wooden butt with a small extension piece on the lower edge that has a butterfly nut on the left side. The cocking handle on the right side is broken. It has a bipod fitted to the barrel just behind the foresight.
The rectangular box section receiver is marked on the right side in white paint '4th Infantry Battalion AIF Pozieres 23-7-16.'
