Martini-Henry Artillery Carbine : South Australian Artillery
Description
Martini Henry Artillery Carbine. Single shot lever action marked Crown over VR ENFIELD 1880 over I.C.I. with SA 782 crossed out with two broad arrows. Butt marked, right side with Enfield armoury roundel, double arrow sale mark and 251 (feint). Left side 000 over 35 over 12. The forearm in front of the trigger guard is stamped DP 165. It has all original parts but it is missing the leather rear sight cover.
