Carcano Model 1891 TS Carbine : Italian Army Special Troops
Description
Carcano Model 1891 TS (Truppe Speciale) bolt action carbine. The receiver is blued and the bolt with a turned down arm is polished. Barrel knox form marked 1917 BRESCIA and the serial number. It has a single piece wooden stock nearly to the muzzle with a short forward top hand guard and a steel end cap which has a bayonet lug attached by bolts. The butt is marked on the left side with the Italian Royal Arms over 1921 in an oval and COST ROMA RIPARAZIO, E4278. The right side has a brass rectangular plate engraved ITALIA MOSHETTO M.91 T.S. Complete with a cleaning rod and a light brown leather sling.
