Description
The 17th Battalion colours displaying the First World War battle honours approved by the King for the unit. In 1927 an announcement was made on behalf of the Minister of Defence, Sir Neville Howse, that the approval from the King had been received for each AIF unit's battle honours to be carried on their colours.
