Crew of a Beaufort bomber aircraft (A9-444) from No. 8 Squadron RAAF who took part in a mass raid on Lakunai aerdrome, Rabaul. Standing left to right: 416433 Flying Officer Theodore Victor Benno Kleinig; 428376 Pilot Officer Edwin John Turk. Seated left to right: 420699 Flying Officer Stanley James Miller; 418030 Flight Sergeant Barry Cameron White. The crew was killed in a flying accident in New Guinea on 25 December 1943.
