Description
Photostat copy, titled "A Brief History of the Australian Armoured Corps" tracing the origins of the unit in 1908 until the end of 1945. The account briefly discusses the background to the Corps 1912-1939, outlines the raising of Divisional Cavalry Regiments for the Middle East in 1940, and sets out the organisation, training and equipment for the Corps. Also includes brief unit histories, operations and Honour Rolls for the Corps, 1941-1945.
