Description

The cluster bomb is made of heavy gauge screwed metal. It is green overall with yellow checkering on the body. It has four fixed base fins and one netting parachute held in place by four metal fillets which close flush with body.

History / Summary

The Karinga was an experimental cluster bomb developed by the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) in the 1970/80s for employment by F111 strike aircraft.
