Spigot Grenade Launcher No 4
Description
Black steel grenade projector for fitting to the muzzle of a No.4 rifle. It is marked PROJECTOR GRENADE No 4 - Rifle MK 4. The body of the projector of round, with grooves, and at the muzzle end there is a hinged flap secured by a screw with a small knurled knob. When opened, this flap allows the launcher to be fitted to the barrel lugs of the rifle, after which the flap is closed and secured in place by the screw. A graduated flip-up sight stamped from sheet steel with folded edges is attached to the top of the main body.
