PRISONERS OF WAR RELEASED FROM CHANGI PRISON CAMP WERE EVACUATED FROM SINGAPORE BY THE AUSTRALIAN HOSPITAL SHIP MANUNDA, THE FIRST AUSTRALIAN SHIP TO ARRIVE AT SINGAPORE AFTER THE SURRENDER OF THE JAPANESE.
