3 RAR parade Woodside, SA
Description
The 3rd Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment (3 RAR) Trooping of the Colour at Torrens Parade Ground to celebrate the 24th Anniversary of the Battle of Kapyong. The parade was reviewed by Chief of the General Staff Major General Arthur Leslie MacDonald, CB, KBE, OBE. The trooping was the first since the presentation of the Colours in 1956. This was the first occasion that the Pipes and Drums also paraded in the dress of the Scots Guards.
