London schoolgirls at Finnemore Wood Camp
Description
This was one of the 31 camps which had been specially built in the country and was housing schools from the evacuation areas. At the time there where about 6,000 children in the camp. "Evacuation" had made possible this valuable experiment in country boarding schools, and when peace came, it was not likely that they would disappear.
