Collection relates to Sergeant William John 'Bill' Guthrie, RAAF Media, Middle East (Operation Okra, Task Group 630), Iraq and Syria, 2015.

Collection compiled by Sgt Guthrie (RAAF Media) and consists of letters and emails wishing soldiers well, sent by school children and members of the public, with the following breakdown:
- 4 x covering pages from the ADAB Welfare for Operation Okra
- 1 x spine marker for binder originally containing letters.
- 24 x letters and drawings by the students of Hillsborough Public School.
- 19 x letters from the students of Runcorn State School, class 1S; 1 x cover letter from Ms Sinnott, teacher of class 1S; and 1 x envelope that letters from 1S were sent in.
- 23 x letters and drawings from the students of Hills International College, class 1R; 1 x cover letter from Mrs Roberts, teacher of class 1R; and 1 x envelope that letters from 1R were sent in.
- 7 x letters and drawings by the kindergarden class of Richmond Public School.
- 1 x letter from Kayleb of year 4C at the Victoria Point State School to soldiers.
- 48 x printed emails sent by Australians to service personal in Middle East (21 pages).

All letters are general in nature, wishing soldiers good luck and thanking them for their service. Many of the letters from children also talk about themselves and their families.
