Studio portrait of 3361 Private (Pte) Sydney Alexander Meloy, 2nd Battalion of Annandale, NSW. Pte Meloy was killed in action at Fleurbaix, France, on 19 July 1916, aged 19 years. This image has been created from the same image as P12611.001, but heavily overpainted to exclude the other soldier, and re-photographed to create an individual portrait.
