Description
Diary relating to the First World War service of 25 Lance Corporal Thomas James Richards, 1st Australian Field Ambulance (AFA). The entries in this diary span the period 26 January to 1 April 1916 and cover the return of the 1st AFA to Egypt in early January, the establishment of camp at Tel-el-Kebir and Serapeum, and the eventual move to France at the end of March. This diary was originally bound by Richards into the third of four volumes and donated to the Australian War Memorial in 1933.
