Description
Studio portrait of 6602 Private (Pte) Lindon George Albon Peisley, 19th Battalion, wearing a uniform with Corporal's rank insignia. Pte Peisley was reported wounded in action and taken prisoner of war of the Germans on 31 August 1918. He was later reported to have died of his wounds whilst in captivity in France on 1 October 1918.
