Mixed Collection relating to Pte Donald Walter Cooke (1338), 3 Battalion AIF
Description
Studio portrait of 1338 Private (Pte) Donald Walter Cooke, 3rd Battalion. A farmer of North Richmond, NSW, he embarked with the 2nd Reinforcements on 11 February 1915 aboard HMAT Seang Bee (A48). Pte Cooke was killed in action on 25 April 1915. The photograph is mounted on card supplied by the NSW Governement archives, and records particulars of the soldier as supplied by the soldier's next of kin.
