This file contains a letter written by Field Marshal Lord William Birdwood regarding a letter he received about the last man to leave Gallipoli. This is a typed copy of the original reply that was sent to Mr Park, dated 25 September 1933. In this letter, Birdwood comments on the numbers of people who left Gallipoli and Suvla simultaneously during the Evacuation.
