Description
One of a series of Second World War posters featuring portraits of British military leaders and politicians. The series was presented to the Memorial by the United Kingdom Information Office, Martin Place, Sydney in 1945 on the request of the Office of the High Commissioner for the United Kingdom in Australia.
The portrait is a reproduction of an oil painting and the image takes up the top two thirds. It is set against a grey background and framed within a triple lined white border. The Union Jack is positioned at the top centre directly above the image.
