Description
Singaporean Navy landing ship from a larger amphibian vessel coming alongside HMAS Parramatta. This small ship performs some vital re-supply and utility duties for the Combined Task Group's ships. One of a series of photographs taken aboard HMAS Parramatta by Mal Booth, Head of the Australian War Memorial's Research Centre, as part of the Memorial's Curators in the Field program. This program continues the Memorial's tradition of documenting Australia's experience of war, through observing the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and collecting records, photographs, oral histories and objects for the Memorial's National Collection.
