ENGLAND, 1897. GROUP OF NCOS AND OTHER RANKS OF THE JUBILEE CONTINGENT OF THE NEW SOUTH WALES MOUNTED RIFLES, IN ENGLAND TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CELEBRATION OF QUEEN VICTORIA'S DIAMOND JUBILEE. MOUNTED ON HORSEBACK, BEARING LANCES WITH PENNANTS, THEY ARE PROBABLY PRACTISING AT HOUNSLOW FOR ROYAL MILITARY TOURNAMENTS. (ORIGINAL HELD IN AUSTRALIAN WAR MEMORIAL ARCHIVAL STORE).
