DARWIN, NT. 1945-11-02. AN RAAF LIBERATOR CARRYING TWENTY SIX ARMY NURSING SISTERS OF THE 2/5TH AUSTRALIAN GENERAL HOSPITAL AND ELEVEN AIR CREW, CAUGHT FIRE SHORTLY AFTER LEAVING THE AIRSTRIP.
