Anxious South Vietnamese civilians crowd the rear of a RAAF Caribou waiting for the chance to climb aboard. This settlement in Hai Yen, South Vietnam, was completely cut off by road by the Viet Cong (VC), and all food, arms and passenger movements were made by the Caribou. US Army advisors to the settlement have the task of deciding who has priority to travel, subject to the available space after the essential food and arms are loaded.
