[Coronation tour of HMAS Sydney 1953]
Description
Coronation tour of the aircraft carrier HMAS Sydney. Melbourne, Fremantle, Colombo, Aden, Port Said, Tobruk (wreath laying ceremony) Malta, Gibraltar, Portsmouth, Clapham Junction London, Halifax, Baltimore, Washington, Kingston Jamaica, Colon Panama City, 14 days through Pacific to Honolulu, to New Zealand, to Sydney and Coronation March through the City. Scenes include HMAS Sydney's Fairey Firefly aircraft taking off from the carrier's deck and crash landing by a Firefly.
